I love simple outfit formulas, especially for springtime! It guarantees that you always have something to wear. This easy outfit formula of a T-shirt, shirt jacket, and jeans is so versatile. You can dress it up for date night with a suede shirt and knit T-shirt. Or dress it down for a casual Saturday fit with a casual shirt jacket and a graphic tee. You can also mix some of the pieces for combinations unique to you! Grab a few of these pieces, and you’ll have a huge variety of different options in your wardrobe. You could go as lightweight as a T-shirt, and a linen shirt jacket. Or, go with a knit sweater and heavier shirt jacket if it’s still cold where you live! Here is my Men’s easy outfit formula for Spring demonstrated in 5 different ways!
Spring Lunch Date
This checked cotton shirt jacket steals the show in this outfit! While this piece may be slightly less versatile than a plain-colored shirt jacket, the pattern is perfect for spring! Pair it with a pair of Levi’s 501 cream denim, my go-to white Koio Sneakers, and my new favorite–Buck Mason’s White Pima Classic Tee–and you have yourself a well-put-together outfit! If you want to get crazy with your matching, you can even include this olive NATO strap watch! This look is perfect for a Saturday out, a casual Easter brunch, or even a date night!
Running Weekend Errands
This outfit is giving all of the vintage 90s Americana vibes. It’s perfect for a casual Saturday or weeknight hang! I love the vintage feel of this Polo Sport Ralph Lauren Hat paired with Madewell’s 1991 Straight Leg jeans. The navy blue swoosh in the Nike Killshot brings the look together creating a subtle sandwich effect with navy on top, cream in the middle, and navy on bottom!
Elevated Spring Date Night
This sleek outfit is admittedly a bit more on the splurge side. But I’ve also linked some similar, more affordable options as well! Todd Snyder is known for their high-quality suede jackets and this Italian suede jacket in olive is no exception! This is a timeless investment piece that will last you for years. It will pretty much always stay in style. But, if you’re not looking to drop close to 1k on a real suede jacket, check out this similar one from Banana Republic for half the price. If you’re not ready to invest but want to try out the style, check out this one from Zara!
On a cool Spring day, this cotton-blend short-sleeved sweater from Massimo Dutti is the perfect option. I have the Alden loafer from J. Crew and cannot say enough good about them! If you dress up for work, or simply want a great high-quality loafer, look no further. If you’re interested in a loafer but don’t want to spend as much, check out the Fitzgerald Tassel loafer from Brooks Brothers!
Hanging with the Boys
I just purchased these Core Blue Handball Spezial Adidas! They are such a fun color for Spring–especially for me who finds incorporating color into my wardrobe difficult. For a casual outfit, pair it with a graphic tee like this one from Abercrombie, or any of their graphic tees! But, I won’t lie, I love how the blue from the Colorado font ties in with the shoes. For an overshirt, this Garment Dyed Work shirt ties in perfectly with the casual vibes of this outfit.
Casual Spring Neutrals
If you know me, you know I love a good and simple outfit. This outfit is simplicity at its finest with my favorite black and white Adidas Samba, this linen blend shirt jacket, and a cream and black hat from Huega House. While it may be a simple fit, I love the subtle herringbone pattern of the shirt jacket that could easily work with a variety of items!
I hope this Men’s Easy outfit formula for Spring will have you thinking about putting your outfits together in a whole new way! It’s really as simple as picking a shirt, shirt jacket, pants, and some shoes and accessories! When in doubt, neutral will always match. Or, if you’re more adventurous, mix and match those colors! Either way, you’ll be dressed perfectly for those unpredictable spring temperatures!
