5 Spring Outfit Ideas Every Guy Should Try

Spring is still in full swing around here! And while some places are pushing into the 80s, it’s definitely not that warm here. So while we’re still hanging onto the cooler temperatures, I wanted to share some spring outfit ideas I’ve been working on! There is definitely some temperature variety here, and a lot of these pieces will translate into summer as well. So here are 5 spring outfit ideas every guy should try!

Long Sleeve Mesh Polo and Light Washed Jeans

I came across this mesh polo from Todd Snyder the other day and fell in love. At $150, it’s slightly less offensively priced than some of Todd Snyder’s other items. I ordered it, and will fill you in on the quality and if it’s worth the investment price. For this outfit, I paired it with light-washed jeans and a green Polo Ralph Lauren hat for a pop of color! This is a simple, stylish spring look any guy could pull off!

Linen Blend Trousers and a Camp Collar Shirt

Once it gets too warm for pants and long sleeves, I love a casual linen pant and camp collar shirt combination. Brown and white probably has more fall vibes, but this Embroidered Camp Collar Shirt from Abercrombie feels spring enough and I’m loving it. Pair it with the Adidas Samba for a casual vibe, or you could dress it up with a minimal sneaker as well.

Linen Shirt and Shorts

Sticking with the linen vibes, I love a long-sleeve shirt and shorts combination. This black linen shirt from Madewell looks like a great relaxed casual option. Paired with the linen blend shorts from Abercrombie I think it would be a really comfortable option! You could wear it unbuttoned with a white tank top underneath for a relaxed vibe, buttoned all the way up because modest is hottest, or somewhere in between with a few buttons undone. Again I went with the Sambas to tie in the color scheme, but you could also go with a minimal sneaker for a smarter look!

Sweater Polo and Linen-Blend Shorts

I’m not so quiet about my love affair with navy and white. Something about it just speaks to me. It’s a smart color combination and it feels great for any season. But, it might be at its peak in spring and summer. The nautical vibes just work this time of year. I love this sweater polo from Madewell with the white sleeves and collar, with a cool knit pattern on the torso. I paired it with some linen blend shorts to keep you cool. I have had my Nike Killshots in heavy rotation lately, and I think they fit perfectly with this look. If someone asks your favorite Yankees player while you wear the hat, I’d go with Doug Mientkiewicz from the 2007 squad so they think you’re a real fan.

Navy and Grey Full Summer Vibes

Last but not least, when it heats up, have this fit ready! Again with the navy and white vibes, but added some grey for variety. This camp collar shirt is the perfect candidate to leave unbuttoned for an easy and breezy look. This outfit utilizes a monochrome baselayer created by the shorts and tank top. Then the vertical lines on the shirt will combine for a slimming combination that will look great on any guy! Pair it with a minimal leather sneaker or a canvas pair when the temperatures really heat up! And this Seiko Presage is a perfect way to smarten up the outfit as well.
