4 Ways to Style Adidas Samba

It’s no secret the Adidas Samba has taken the world by storm the past few years. It’s a great sneaker. Simple, retro inspired, and has fantastic color blocking. If you don’t have a pair in your rotation, I definitely think it’s worth picking up. If you do have a pair, here are 4 Ways to Style Adidas Samba sneakers for guys!

Saturday Coffee Run Samba Inspo

First up, we’ll keep it simple with a monochromatic look. While white and black are the predominant colors on the sneaker, I’m playing off of the greyish suede hit with this outfit. Something about an all grey fit feels perfect for winter. You can never go wrong with a classic pair of denim like the Levi’s 501, and I think this grey color is really unique. Here, I’ve paired it with a Grey Donegal Crewneck from NYC based brand Alex Mill. I love the flecks of white in the knit to tie in with the sneaker. And wear your favorite white tee underneath and let the collar show a tiny bit for some casual style. A white dial dive watch from Orient and green Ralph’s Coffee hat for a pop of color complete the ensemble! And of course, the star of this blog, the Adidas Sambas!

Winter Elevated Casual Samba Inspiration

We’re bundling up for the second look. White denim is a year round staple for me, and the Abercrombie 90s Straight Jean is one of my favorites. Paired with a light grey knit from Massimo Dutti and an oversized overcoat from Madewell, you’re again playing into the color blocking of the Samba! Something about this look feels so balanced. I think it would look fantastic in a variety of situations. You could add the green beanie from Colorful Standard for a hit of color, and to keep you as warm and cozy as possible on a cold winter day.

Casual Sporty Samba Inspiration

For a more casual winter day, we’ll opt for a puffer coat instead of a wool coat. This Ultra Puffer from Abercrombie has been one of my favorite winter finds. If you catch it on sale for as low as $43, it’s an incredible value. It’s super warm and I think the grey color is a bit more unique than a traditional black. Pair it again with the white 90s Straight Denim from Abercrombie, and a navy blue knit for a comfy casual winter look.

Cozy Errands Samba Inspo

And last but not least, a full on Saturday coffee run casual fit. Leaning into our 90s vibes here with a corduroy shirt jacket and light washed denim. This would look so good with the shirt open – which I find t be a really flattering look for guys of all shapes and sizes. The textures scream winter, and as you can tell, I just think Green goes so well with the Samba. So, the dark emerald green on the shirt jacket is perfect. I also paired it with the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80, one of the best values in automatic watches on the market.
